Since the Corellium OS is based on Ubuntu, can I perform regular Ubuntu updates to my appliance?

No, the version of Ubuntu on your Corellium appliance is unique, updating to any version not provided by us will result in failure.

Can I install third party apps to my appliance?

Technically, yes, it is your hardware after all. However, we do not maintain a catalog of which third party apps will not interfere with Corellium software; if you do use third party apps, they will all need to be uninstalled prior to making any updates in order to ensure a successful installation.

Why does my device say "There are not enough resources on a single compute node to create this virtual device" when I have plenty of resources?

This is likely due to an incorrect setting in your setup.json file. To fix it, follow the steps below:

  1. SSH into your device
  2. Navigate to /etc/corellium/setup.json
  3. Set virtualDeviceInterface to "eth0"
  4. Run corellium-configure --postinst
  5. Run corellium-configure --postinst --compute
